As authorized by the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai in 2002, anyone can buy properties in the emirate’s freehold areas. The buyer can be an overseas individual and doesn’t have to be a resident of the UAE to be eligible to make a purchase. Fee Structure Of Buying a Property In Dubai

Primary Market Transaction

  • Secondary Market Transaction
  • Broker’ commission: Ranges from 2 to 5% of the buying price plus VAT
  • No objection certificate: A NOC from the developer can be had between the price of AED 500 to 10,000 plus VAT.
  • Registration Trustee Fee: The RTF for properties less than AED 500,000 is AED 2,000 plus VAT. Properties worth more than 500,000 AED is 4,000 AED plus AED.
  • Transfer Fee: 4% of the buying price
  • Mortgage Registration fee: 0.25% (if applicable) of the registered loan amount.
  • Title Deed Issuance: AED 580

Primary Market Transaction

  • Booking deposit: Depending on the worth of property, ranges between AED 5,000 to 37,000. It is adjusted in 1st installment of the property.
  • Installments: 5 to 10% of the property’s worth. Installments are paid quarterly. Easy post-handover plans are subject to the seller’s agreement.
  • OQOOD registration fee: 4% of the property’s purchase value. Plus AED 3000 admin fees.
