LEGAL FRAMEWORK
As authorized by the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai in 2002, anyone can buy properties in the emirate’s freehold areas. The buyer can be an overseas individual and doesn’t have to be a resident of the UAE to be eligible to make a purchase. This decision was also backed by many laws during the further development of the Dubai real estate market.
ACCESS TO THE REAL ESTATE REGISTER
It is important to note that in Dubai, all the pertinent information and data regarding the properties like their location and related rights are contained in the real estate register. It cannot be accessed by the general public. Only a registered owner or the authorized person can access the information under the respected court’s order.
WHO CAN BUY PROPERTY IN DUBAI?
Any person can legally own real estate in Dubai? However, if the property has to be owned under an organization or business name, it should be incorporated in Dubai’s onshore zone or certain dedicated free zones. If you are looking for incorporation services, ANW Real Estate offers trusted services. Our incorporation services include the preparation of all required documents.
TIMEFRAME
Normally, it takes around 30 days in Dubai for a resale property transaction to get finalized, which starts at the date on which the Sale Contract is signed by all concerned parties. On the contrary, the timeframe for off-plan deals is quite short as they get finalized in a day or sometimes in 30 minutes. If you don’t want to get stuck in the legal formalities and want to save your precious time, ANW is here to help. We expedite the deal by working on your behalf under the Power of Attorney.
DUE DILIGENCE
When it comes to due diligence, ANW Real Estate promises complete reliability for and on behalf of our respected clients. While supporting the deal in the secondary market, our field officers will check to see whether the ownership is legal and authentic or not. Moreover, we’ll also complete a systematic property inspection to guarantee you a sale contract free from all potential pitfalls. While for an off-plan deal, we cover all bases and legal requirements.
